The photograph is called "Surin" representing the face of all Asian elephants as their numbers decline drastically. The elephant is a female, about a year old and one of the 200 plus elephants brought off the streets and now living in Surin province in Thailand.
The print is a giclee, custom printed on museum archival Hahnemuhle fine art paper.
The print size is 8x10", with mat 11x14"
Carol Stevenson is an award winning fine art and documentary photographer who raises awareness for the plight of the elephants through her photography.
Proceeds of her print sales go the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation to help bringing more elephants off the streets.
She has recently launched a new Adopt An Elephant project where people can come together to help adopt one of 3 Asian elephants.
